T- square – A ruler shaped like the T, used in mechanical and architectural drawing.
Table – A smooth, flat slab or board, with legs used as an article of furniture.
Tank – A large basin or cistern, a reservoir of water.
Tap – A hole or short pipe through which fluid is drawn, a cock for regulating the flow of liquid.
Terrace – A raised flat place; the flat roof of the house.
Theodolite – An instrument used in land surveying for the measurement of angles horizontal and vertical.
To Abut – To be positioned juxtaposed to a road, lane open space, building etc.
To erect – To erect a building means:(a). To erect a new building on any site whether previously built or not;(b) To re-erect any building of which portions above the plinth level have been pulled down, burnt or destroyed; (c)Conversion from one occupancy to another.
Tower – A lofty building, standing alone or forming part of another.
Town – A place larger than a village.
Town Centre – The most important shopping and business area of town.
Tracery – Ornamental stone framework, generally carved in sections.
Transept – Either of the arms of a cross-shaped church
Transome – Horizontal bar across a window or panel.

Travel Distance – The distance from the remotest point on a floor of a building to a place of safety be it a vertical exit, horizontal exit or an outside exit measured along the line of travel.
Trellis – A structure of cross bared or lattices work, for supporting plants.
Triforium – An arcaded gallery above nave, choir, or transept arches of a church.
Truncate – To cut the top or end off, to lop, to maim.
Truss – Individual section of supportive framework bridging a space.
Turret – A small tower on a building or a structure, rising above it, a tower.
