LIGHTING | An Architect Explains

Lighting or illumination is the application of light to a space in order to achieve some aesthetic or practical effect. Lighting includes the use of both artificial light sources such as electric lamps and natural illumination of interiors using sunlight.

Lighting is an important aspect of all interior and exterior designs. Proper, well designed lighting is absolutely essential for a room to be functionally and aesthetically perfect. Proper lighting can enhance task performance or aesthetics, while there can be wastage of energy and adverse health effects if the lighting is poorly designed.



Different types of lighting can create different moods, add beauty to your home and of course, prevent you from bumping into furniture.
