FENG SHUI APPLIED TO AN EXISTING BUILDING
The basic principles of Feng Shui can be applied to an existing building/property. Like in Vastu Shastra, it is recommended in Feng Shui that there must be an easy and unblocked flow of energy or chi around your furniture and house/building. By applying Feng Shui principles, you can improve the positive and harmonious vibrations in an existing building or property.
Ideally, the right time to apply Feng Shui principles is at the time of designing the building. But the advantage with Feng Shui is that it offers simple remedies to correct the flaws even in existing buildings and spaces. Anyone who learns the basic principles of Feng Shui can apply it to their spaces and surroundings to create positive vibrations. As an Architect practising in India, I have learned a bit of Feng Shui so that I can apply it to a project if the need arises.
